Outgoing Server tab: You need to mark the box ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ and select ‘use same settings as my incoming mail server

Incoming server (POP3): port 995 and select the box ‘this server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’.

Outgoing server (SMTP): port 587 and also choose ‘TLS’ and select ‘Use the following types of encrypted connection’.

Outlook IMAP server settings

Select the IMAP as account type and fill the following server settings:

Account Type: IMAP

Incoming Mail Server: imap-mail.outlook.com

Incoming Mail server: imap-mail.outlook.com

Outgoing Mail server (SMTP): smtp-mail.outlook.com

User Name: Outlook username

Password: Outlook password

Now click on More Settings and incorporate the following changes:

Outgoing server tab: You need to mark the box ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’ and select ‘use same settings as my incoming mail server’.

Advanced tab-Server Port Number:

Incoming server (POP3): port 993 and mark the checkbox ‘this server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)’.

Outgoing server (SMTP): port 587 and select ‘TLS’ for the option ‘Use the following types of encrypted connection’.
